Doctor’s Clinic | ELVA Child Psychiatry

We provide care for children and adolescents under 18 years old, with the consent of all legal guardians. In certain cases, young adults previously treated by the clinic may also be accepted.

Cases are carefully selected to ensure safe and appropriate care.

This is a privately funded clinic and does not have agreements with the public healthcare system.  We do not share medical records with other healthcare providers in the region.  

Payment can be made on-site via Swish or by invoice sent after the visit (14-day terms). 

Initial contact usually begins with 1–3 assessment sessions to determine if the case is suitable for this clinic.  

If necessary, we will provide guidance or referrals to other care providers.  

This clinic does not handle acute psychiatric emergencies. For urgent help, please contact:

The clinic is situated in the same premises as the Swedish Institute for Cognitive Psychotherapy. It is easy to reach the clinic by public transport, and there is parking available for visitors at the hospital. If you have mobility impairments or arrive with a stroller, please use the entrance at Dalagatan 9 instead.  

 By Public Transport:

• Metro: The nearest station is Odenplan, about a 5–10 minute walk.  
• Bus: Several bus lines stop nearby. Check current schedules for details.  

By Car:

• Visitor parking is available but limited.  
• For mobility-impaired visitors or those with strollers, please use the Dalagatan 9 entrance.  

Clinic Entrance & Check-In:

1. Enter via Dalagatan 9 A.  
2. Take the stairs on your left, turn left at the bottom, and go through the glass door.  
3. Go through the door marked “Svenska Institutet för Kognitiv Psykoterapi” and take a seat in the waiting area.  
4. No registration at reception is required — the clinician will come to you when it’s time.
